Middle School Curriculum

Middle School consists of sixth through eighth grade.  Students attend core and specialist classes taught by a licensed teacher in their field.  Core classes consist of:  Math, Literature, Social Studies, and Science. Specialist classes are taught everyday and consist of:  Computers and Technology, Library and Information Literacy, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Hmong language.  HOPE Community Academy also has netbook carts, laptops, and iPads available for teachers to incorporate into their teaching/classroom.  

Each tri-semester an Honor Roll, based on academic achievement, is compiled.  Students qualify for the Honor Roll according to their grade point average.  Honor Roll consists of Highest Honors, High Honors and Honors.
